Our electrically powered floating grab systems have been specially developed to extract sand and gravel from depths of 10 to over 100 meters below the water level. Each floating grab is manufactured individually according to the requirements of the respective deposit and the needs of our customers. This ensures that our dredging technology is tailor-made, powerful, and flexible in its application. The optional catamaran design allows not only the connection of floating belts but also the loading of the extracted material into barges.
Our floating grabs can be equipped with various components for on-board processing, including double or single-deck dewatering screens, crushers, fine sand recovery systems, and even floating conveyor belts for transporting the material ashore. In addition to cable grabs, hydraulic motor grabs from our own production round off the package and make the floating grab an efficient and versatile tool for any type of wet mining.
Our floating grabs are electrically powered as standard, with diesel or hybrid drives available as options. Our specially developed automation and monitoring software ensures maximum efficiency with minimum energy consumption. Our floating grabs thus combine performance, precision, and sustainability—and meet the high demands of modern sand and gravel extraction.
